Crime incidents reported in Agra and Jaipur involving students

Two separate violent incidents involving students preparing for competitive exams have been reported in Agra and Jaipur.

In Agra, a 25-year-old man died after allegedly hanging himself in a hotel on the Gwalior Highway on Wednesday evening. Approximately 10 hours later, a 22-year-old woman, who was also preparing for competitive exams, died by suicide at her home in Sikandarpur village. Police are investigating the connection between the two deaths.

In Jaipur, a woman identified as Kanak Shakya was shot in the chest near the Chatarala Circle in the Sitapura area on Wednesday night. Preliminary reports suggest the attack was motivated by the victim's refusal to marry the suspect, identified as Akash. The victim was taken to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in serious condition, and police are currently searching for the assailant.
