Crime incidents reported in Morrovalle and Marsala
In Morrovalle, a 21-year-old man has been charged with trespassing and theft after allegedly occupying a rural farmhouse. Authorities report that the individual forced a window to enter the property during the owner's absence and lived there for several days. Before leaving, the suspect reportedly stole two sets of keys. The investigation, supported by neighbor testimonies and physical evidence left at the scene, led the Carabinieri to identify the suspect, who is already known to law enforcement.
In Marsala, a 30-year-old man was stabbed following a confrontation in the Contrada Ciancio area. The incident reportedly began when the victim approached a couple walking in the area to question their presence, amid local concerns regarding recent thefts. The dispute escalated into a fight, during which the victim sustained a knife wound to the armpit. He was treated at the Paolo Borsellino hospital. The event follows a period of increased tension in the region, where residents have organized patrols due to a rise in reported burglaries.
