Criminal incidents reported in Argentina and Costa Rica

In Concepción, Argentina, a couple was threatened at gunpoint by four hooded individuals who entered their home through an unlocked back door during the early hours of Tuesday. The intruders reached the master bedroom and pointed a firearm at the victims. The attempted robbery was unsuccessful after the couple began screaming for help, causing the suspects to flee. Only a mobile phone was reportedly taken during the escape.

In Turrialba, Costa Rica, three minors allegedly assaulted an elderly Italian couple. The suspects reportedly entered the residence by cutting a window screen with a knife, stealing cash, phones, and clothing. One of the victims, a 77-year-old man, was forced at knifepoint to drive his own vehicle to the Chitaría sector. Authorities later located the three suspects near a farm and recovered stolen belongings. The victims were unharmed.
