Criminal incidents reported in Guanabara Bay, João Pessoa, and São Gonçalo
Various criminal incidents have been reported across different regions in Brazil. In Guanabara Bay, an armed robbery occurred involving a family on a jet ski near Niterói and Rio de Janeiro. Witnesses reported that three jet skis were involved in the attack, during which a child's phone and several pieces of jewelry were stolen. The Civil Police are investigating the case.
In João Pessoa, two suspects were arrested after attempting to rob a couple walking on a sidewalk in the Jardim Oceania neighborhood. The suspects are also accused of robbing a convenience store and attempting to rob a copy shop in Manaíra. The stolen items were recovered by police.
In São Gonçalo, the Municipal Guard arrested two men for the theft of an aluminum garage gate in the Mutondo neighborhood. The suspects were caught by ROMU agents while attempting to dismantle the gate, which was valued at approximately R$ 2,000. The individuals were taken to the 74th DP in Alcântara.
