Chihuahua security operations lead to criminal arrest and fuel seizure

Security operations in Chihuahua have resulted in significant law enforcement achievements. Authorities arrested Adrián Alexis C. B., known as 'El Fantasma,' a suspected high-ranking leader of the criminal organization La Línea. The arrest occurred in the Aldama municipality following an armed confrontation with state police near the Texas border. During the operation, officers seized a Dodge Ram vehicle, five long weapons, 15 magazines, and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.

In a separate crackdown on fuel theft, the State Public Security Secretary, Gilberto Loya Chávez, announced the seizure of more than 311,000 liters of fuel, consisting of approximately 265,834 liters of gasoline and 45,870 liters of diesel. The stolen fuel is estimated to have a black market value of over 7.6 million pesos. These operations have led to 20 arrests and the seizure of 46 vehicles. Additionally, municipal police in Chihuahua Capital reported a 33.6% decrease in non-violent vehicle thefts due to increased surveillance and technological implementation.
