Further clues include visual improvements to distant regions, such as the area fans refer to as the ‘South Island,’ and the appearance of a submerged island in the eastern part of the map. These changes have fueled theories regarding potential new gameplay mechanics, such as naval combat, underwater exploration, or new equipment related to sea travel.
