Crimson Desert receives World Builder mod and technical hotfix

Pearl Abyss is introducing significant updates and tools for its action RPG, Crimson Desert. A new in-game World Builder mod has transformed the title into a sandbox experience, offering players access to over 48,000 pre-made elements, including walls, ruins, furniture, and natural features. This tool allows users to place, rotate, scale, and move objects using keyboard shortcuts or mouse controls without modifying the core game files, as all changes are saved in separate project files.

In addition to the sandbox expansion, Pearl Abyss has released a hotfix to address technical issues. The update resolves bugs affecting mission progression, specifically regarding the “The Mysterious Pot” quest and the “Ether Rest” Abyss area. The patch also fixes map visibility issues where recently discovered items would not display correctly, aiding player exploration. The studio continues to work on these refinements while preparing for the upcoming expansion, Crimson Desert: Charting the Unknown.
