Cris Nardes accuses Rogério Morro da Cruz of collusion in BRB-Banco Master deal

Cris Nardes, a candidate for the District Chamber (CLDF) representing the Republicanos party, has accused District Deputy Rogério Morro da Cruz (PSD) of collusion regarding the acquisition of Banco Master by Banco BRB.

In a published video, Nardes claims that Morro da Cruz acted as a rapporteur for the bill authorizing the transaction and provided a favorable opinion despite technical warnings from the CLDF consultancy. She alleges that the deputy ignored oversight amendments from the Court of Accounts and the Comptroller General to protect banker Daniel Vorcaro.

Nardes further stated that the Central Bank halted the deal following Federal Police revelations concerning contracts worth R$ 130 million. She called for Morro da Cruz's removal from the legislative house, citing concerns over the economic stability of the Federal District.
