Crisis Intervention Center in Siemianowice Śląskie marks 18th anniversary

The Crisis Intervention Center (OIK) in Siemianowice Śląskie is celebrating its 18th anniversary. Established in 2008, the institution has provided professional support, empathy, and security to individuals facing difficult life situations.

Under the long-term leadership of Kinga Hamera-Gromacka, the center has expanded its services to include specialized counseling, support groups, a Parent School, and a children's common room. The staff also actively participates in local social and prevention campaigns, such as ‘Nie otwieraj drzwi przemocy’ (Do not open the door to violence).

The anniversary event included representatives from the city administration, the city council, various institutions, and emergency services to recognize the cooperation required to manage crisis situations.
