Crispiano hosts cycling and archery events for Mediterranean Games

The municipality of Crispiano has concluded its participation in the XX Mediterranean Games with a focus on cycling and archery. The events included men's and women's cycling races held on August 24, followed by archery competitions from August 25 to 28.

A key legacy of the games is the new San Simone sports center, a facility dedicated entirely to archery. Described as unique in Southern Italy, the administration intends for the center to serve as a reference point for both national and international sports federations.

Italian Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi attended the archery finals on August 28, where he was received by Mayor Luca Lopomo. The local administration highlighted the successful organization and the significant involvement of volunteers and the public.
