Cristi Borcea sells 80% of apartments in new Doi Cocoși Residence

Cristi Borcea, the former shareholder of the Dinamo Bucharest football club, has achieved significant sales success with the Doi Cocoși Residence residential project in Bucharest. Built on the site of the former Doi Cocoși restaurant, which was demolished in 2024, the new development consists of an 11-story building containing 102 apartments.

Approximately 80% of the units have already been sold, leaving only about 20% available. Cornel Ion, owner of the real estate group Start Priority Holding, stated that sales have exceeded expectations. The project is a collaboration involving Borcea, his son Patrick Borcea, and the Ion family through Start Priority Holding.

Apartment prices in the complex range from approximately 90,000 euros for a 37-square-meter unit to 240,000 euros for an 82-square-meter unit. The building features two underground levels, a ground floor, and nine upper floors, with the top three floors being set back.
