Cristian Castro graduates from high school at age 51

Mexican singer Cristian Castro has completed his high school studies at the age of 51. The graduation ceremony for the first generation of the online institution Prepa W took place at the Teatro Royal Pedregal in Mexico City.

Castro, who received a medal of merit and was named a Graduate of Honor, completed his studies through a distance learning model over approximately two and a half years. He expressed interest in pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, mentioning his fascination with consumer products.

The event was attended by his mother, actress Verónica Castro, who served as the honorary godmother for the graduating class. Her presence drew significant attention as she required the use of supplemental oxygen and assistance with mobility. While her health sparked concern among onlookers, representatives stated she was using oxygen as a medical precaution and remained stable.

Following the ceremony, reports indicated that both Cristian Castro and Verónica Castro experienced a drop in blood pressure, which may have been related to the emotional intensity of the event.
