Cristian Chivu discusses coaching philosophy at Inter Milan

Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu has reflected on his coaching journey, describing himself as an “apprentice coach.” Chivu stated that maintaining curiosity and embracing uncertainty is essential to his professional growth, noting that he would consider leaving the profession if he ever stopped feeling like a learner.

During his first year at the helm, Chivu led the team to a Scudetto and a Coppa Italia title, following a period that included a Champions League final loss and an early exit from the Club World Cup.

Former Inter teammate Wesley Sneijder also praised Chivu’s leadership and coaching performance. Speaking at the Trento Sport Festival, Sneijder highlighted Chivu’s intense passion on the sidelines and his ability to connect with the squad, recalling their time as teammates during the club’s historic periods.
