Cristian Cueva expresses desire to return to Peru national team

Midfielder Cristian Cueva has expressed his desire to return to the Peru national team. Following a friendly match between Sport Boys and a U-20 side at the Videna facilities, Cueva stated that the possibility of representing the ‘Bicolor’ remains a primary goal.

Cueva noted that he maintains a good relationship with coach Mano Menezes, whom he has known since his time in Brazil, as well as with official Jean Ferrari. While he acknowledged past disagreements, he emphasized that his focus is on football and stated that the final decision regarding his potential recall rests entirely with the technical staff.
