Cristian Horton re-elected as CICOPA Américas president

Cristian Horton has been re-elected unanimously as the president of CICOPA Américas for the 2026-2030 term. During the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) World Conference in Panama City, Horton reviewed his previous four years of management, which focused on increasing visibility, international influence, territorial development, and membership expansion.

In a related development at the conference, Ariel Guarco was re-elected as president of the International Cooperative Alliance for a new four-year term. Horton noted that the lack of alternative candidates for the ICA presidency reflects strong support for the current direction of the cooperative movement.
