Cristian Jonathan Espíndola sentenced to life for sexual abuse and death

The Paso de los Libres Trial Court has sentenced Cristian Jonathan Espíndola to life imprisonment for sexual abuse followed by death. The crime took place on May 29, 2024, in the La Florida settlement of Monte Caseros, resulting in the death of 14-year-old Milagros Ramona Espinoza.

While Espíndola was found criminally responsible, the court acquitted two other defendants, identified as his brothers, due to insufficient evidence regarding their alleged roles in the crime. Once the sentence is finalized, Espíndola will serve his term at Penal Unit No. 1 in Corrientes.
