Cristian Minoggio and Yngvild Kaspersen win CCC 2026

Cristian Minoggio and Yngvild Kaspersen emerged as the winners of the 2026 CCC race during the UTMB Finals. The event, which connects Courmayeur to Chamonix, was impacted by severe weather, including persistent rain and strong winds, leading organizers to modify the course by cutting the final climb and descent.

In the men's race, Italian athlete Cristian Minoggio secured victory with a time of 10:21:48. He took the lead during the second half of the course, pulling away from his competitors. Portuguese runner Miguel Arsenio finished second in 10:27:25, followed by American Hans Troyer in third with a time of 10:33:29.

The women's race featured a dramatic comeback by Norway's Yngvild Kaspersen. After trailing in the standings, Kaspersen surged in the second half of the race to win in 12:01:14. She narrowly defeated Toni McCann, who finished second in 12:06:14, while China's Miao Yao took third place.
