Cristian Zara retains European bantamweight title

Cristian Zara successfully defended his European bantamweight title in Carbonia, defeating Salvatore Contino via knockout in the ninth round. The match, held as part of the celebrations for the 110th anniversary of the Italian Boxing Federation, saw Zara utilize a right-guard stance to effectively manage his opponent with precise jabs and combinations.
