Cristiano Godano to release new album “Un filo d’erba nel muro”

Italian singer, songwriter, and frontman of Marlene Kuntz, Cristiano Godano, is set to release a new album of original songs titled “Un filo d’erba nel muro” on November 13. The project is released via Ala Bianca Group and Warner Music.

The album features production by British multi-instrumentalist Rob Ellis, known for his work with PJ Harvey and Marianne Faithfull. This marks a reunion between Godano and Ellis, more than twenty years after their collaboration on the 2003 Marlene Kuntz milestone “Senza peso”. The new production aims for an international sound, moving away from previous folk influences toward new sonic layers.

“Un filo d’erba nel muro” will be available in digital formats and as a CD with special 45-rpm style packaging. Pre-orders for the album opened on October 20.
