Tale e Quale Show features contestant wins and judge tension

The sixteenth edition of the Rai 1 variety show ‘Tale e Quale Show’, hosted by Carlo Conti, continues its run with recent developments involving both contestants and judges.

During the second episode aired on September 30, 2026, Selma Ezzine secured first place with her imitation of Beyoncé. Other notable performances included Andrea Perroni as Franco Califano and Maddalena Corvaglia as P!nk. The episode also featured a brief technical mishap where Conti was caught off-guard by a camera restart following a commercial break, which he handled with humor.

Behind the scenes, tension has emerged between judges Cristiano Malgioglio and Elettra Lamborghini. The friction stems from Malgioglio’s previous comments questioning Lamborghini’s singing and dancing abilities. While Malgioglio has since characterized his remarks as mere ‘provocations’ and attempted to apologize via message, reports indicate a cold atmosphere and a lack of response from Lamborghini.
