Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez held an intimate wedding ceremony on August 11 in Cascais, Portugal. The date marked the tenth anniversary of the couple meeting at a Gucci store in Madrid. Eschewing a traditional large-scale celebration, the couple chose to exchange vows in their family living room, surrounded by their five children: Cristiano Jr., Eva Maria, Mateo, Alana, and Bella.

The ceremony featured attire from Gucci, the brand where the couple first met. While the setting was modest, the jewelry was notable; Rodríguez wore a Chopard Garden of Kalahari set featuring a 50-carat diamond, with the total value of her jewelry estimated at approximately $50 million. Following the home ceremony, the couple visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Fátima for a private blessing.

In interviews with Vogue, the couple discussed their preference for intimacy over luxury, noting that they already have access to palaces and islands in their daily lives.
