Cristiano Ronaldo appears in Portugal national team pre-list

Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in the preliminary squad list for Portugal’s upcoming November FIFA dates under coach Jorge Jesus. The inclusion follows a period of uncertainty after the Al Nassr striker abruptly left the national team camp in Copenhagen during the October international window.

The incident, which occurred after a match against Norway, resulted in Ronaldo being issued a 30-day disciplinary suspension and a 255 euro fine by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) for abandoning the team. Having served the duration of the penalty, he is now eligible to rejoin the squad for crucial UEFA Nations League fixtures against Denmark and Norway.

Official confirmation of his return is expected during a press conference scheduled for Friday at the Cidade do Futebol in Oeiras. While the player previously expressed dissatisfaction with technical decisions, the FPF has indicated a willingness to resolve internal frictions to prioritize team performance.
