Cristiano Ronaldo included in Portugal's Nations League pre-selection

Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in the preliminary squad for Portugal's upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Denmark and Wales. The announcement from the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) follows a 30-day suspension imposed on the 41-year-old striker after he left the national team camp in Copenhagen on September 30.

The departure stemmed from a conflict with coach Jorge Jesus. Ronaldo reportedly accused the manager of failing to honor commitments regarding playing time and media protocols. Following the incident, Ronaldo issued an apology to fans and teammates.

Portugal is scheduled to face Denmark in Braga on November 14, followed by a match against Wales on November 17. While the player is in the pre-selection, the final squad is expected to be announced by Jorge Jesus on November 6. Meanwhile, forward Gonçalo Ramos has expressed his desire to maintain his starting position despite Ronaldo's imminent return.
