Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed pride in his 16-year-old son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, who is currently training with the Al-Nassr youth academy in Saudi Arabia. The elder Ronaldo noted that his son appears stronger and larger than he was at the same age, remarking, "I think he will be bigger than me." Having previously trained at Juventus and Manchester United, Ronaldo Jr has already represented Portugal at the Under-15 and Under-16 levels.
