Cristiano Ronaldo sets record with 25th consecutive league scoring season
Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved a new milestone by becoming the first footballer to score in league competitions across 25 consecutive seasons. This record-breaking streak, which began during his time at Sporting CP in the 2002/03 campaign, was extended following his goal in Al Nassr’s 4-0 victory against Al Riyadh.
With his recent goal, Ronaldo has reached 977 career goals, leaving him 23 goals away from the historic 1,000-goal mark. His career scoring tally includes 146 goals for Portugal and significant contributions at clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Juventus, and Al Nassr.
In addition to these individual achievements, the Saudi Pro League has announced a schedule reshuffle for several matchdays, including Matchdays 8 through 11. These adjustments were made in coordination with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation to accommodate preparation for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup.
