Cristiano Ronaldo returns to Al Nassr training for new season

Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training with Al Nassr ahead of the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season. The 41-year-old forward rejoined his teammates in Riyadh following a break after the 2026 World Cup and his recent marriage to Georgina Rodríguez.

Upon his return, Ronaldo debuted a new copper-blonde hairstyle, which drew significant attention on social media. Al Nassr's new head coach, Ange Postecoglou, welcomed the captain back to the training ground, noting that “Ronaldo is always ready,” though he did not guarantee the striker would feature in the upcoming season opener against Al Fateh.

As Al Nassr prepares to defend its league title, Ronaldo remains focused on major career milestones, specifically aiming to become the first player to reach 1,000 professional goals. He currently stands at 976 goals.
