Cristiano Ronaldo hints 2026-27 season could be his final year in football FAST-MOVING

Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated that the 2026-27 season may be his final year in professional football. In an interview with Vogue, the 41-year-old Portugal captain expressed his desire to leave a spectacular legacy as his career, spanning 25 years, approaches its conclusion.

Ronaldo, who is currently playing for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, noted that he has already mapped out his future. He intends to fill the void left by football by traveling, spending time with family, and pursuing hobbies such as playing padel.

The announcement follows his participation in the 2026 World Cup, which he had previously identified as his final appearance in the tournament. During that competition, Ronaldo scored three goals, including a historic penalty against Croatia. He currently holds the record for the most international men's goals with 146 and is approaching the milestone of 1,000 career goals, having scored 976 to date.
