Cristiano Ronaldo suggests current season could be his last

Cristiano Ronaldo has indicated that the current season could potentially be his last in professional football. The Portuguese captain stated that his decision to retire will be his own, noting that he will continue playing as long as his body and mind allow.

As he approaches the milestone of 1,000 career goals—currently sitting at 979—Ronaldo expressed dual ambitions: winning the UEFA Nations League with Portugal and reaching the thousand-goal mark. He also welcomed the new era under Portugal's head coach, Jorge Jesus, noting their previous successful collaboration at Al-Nassr.

Addressing critics and media scrutiny, Ronaldo used humor to deflect negativity, while emphasizing his commitment to maintaining his physical condition through strict dietary discipline and consistency.
