Cristina Consuegra assumes directorship of Generamma film festival
Cristina Consuegra has taken over the directorship of the Generamma film festival. In her new role, she intends to implement a “change of skin” for the organization, which includes introducing a new visual identity and expanding the festival's industry-related programming.
The festival's upcoming programming will be centered on three core pillars: body, territory, and future. These themes are designed to address various social issues affecting women, such as violence, caregiving, economic precariousness, migration, and ageism.
Consuegra also aims to strengthen ties with major film festivals in Andalusia, specifically in Málaga and Sevilla, while positioning Generamma as a collaborative space for other festivals within the province of Cádiz. The festival will maintain its focus on the unique nature of Chiclana.
