Cristina Dottori selected for Italian Under 18 water polo national team

Cristina Dottori, a 17-year-old water polo athlete, has been selected for the Italian women’s Under 18 national team. She is among the fifteen athletes chosen by federal coach Giacomo Grassi to compete in the World Aquatics Women’s U18 Championships.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Tenerife, Spain, from August 16 to August 23.

Dottori, originally from Perugia and currently residing in Corciano, has a diverse competitive background. Her career includes playing for Libertas Rari Nantes Perugia, Rari Nantes Florentia, and currently Sport Center Parma in Serie A2. Her international experience also includes participating in the Under 15 European Championships in Zagreb and three consecutive appearances at the USA Water Polo Junior Olympics with La Jolla United in San Diego, California.
