Cristina Llanos, the former vocalist of the band Dover, has given her first interview in a decade following the publication of her diaries, ‘La noche cayó y ya nadie pudo salvarme’. In the interview, Llanos reflects on her departure from the band, noting that while Dover was a vital part of her life, the physical demands of touring and health issues affecting both her and her sister Amparo led to her withdrawal from the stage.
Llanos also addressed controversial political views. Regarding gender identity, she criticized the Trans Law, stating that “being a woman is not a feeling, it is a biological reality” and advocating for specific facilities for gender-fluid individuals. Additionally, she defended Israel, claiming there is a “collective moral rule” to hate the country and criticizing what she perceives as a widespread campaign of demonization against the nation.
