Cáritas Argentina celebrates 70 years with event in Villa María

Cáritas Argentina is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a diocesan event in Villa María on October 25. The commemoration will include a mass at 11:00 and a lunch at 12:00 at the Salón Católico.

Diocesan director Gilda Ibal noted that the anniversary celebrations began earlier this year with a national meeting at the Basilica of Luján. Founded in the 1950s to provide immediate assistance such as food and clothing during social crises, the organization has since expanded its programs to focus on long-term personal development and social transformation across various dioceses.
