In Albacete, Mayor Manuel Serrano and Cáritas director Rosa Garcia Fernández de Sevilla signed a municipal agreement providing €110,000 to fund a “Prevention and social integration” programme for families in unemployment, children in disadvantaged households, the elderly, the homeless and long‑term unemployed youth. The funding will support basic needs, community work, pre‑employment training and autonomy projects such as “Corazón de casa”.
