Cáritas provides community aid to families in La Loma

In the La Loma neighborhood, the Virgen del Carmen church community maintains a solidarity network through Cáritas to support local residents. The organization provides weekly assistance, including breakfast for more than 50 people every Tuesday and Thursday, with food donated by local businesses.

Cáritas also manages the monthly distribution of grocery packages to at least 80 families, though this number has reached 140 during periods of higher demand. Additionally, the center serves as a hub for clothing distribution and offers therapeutic psychological services every 15 days. The initiative relies on a team of local volunteers to address economic difficulties within the community.
