Critical Metals project in Greenland remains on track for 2029 production

Critical Metals Corp. shares rose significantly after CEO Tony Sage confirmed that the Tanbreez Project in Greenland remains on schedule to begin rare-earth production by 2029. The Tanbreez site is considered one of the largest undeveloped deposits of rare-earth metals outside of China, making it a strategically important resource for the production of magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defense equipment.

To facilitate the project, Critical Metals plans to acquire the Australian-listed European Lithium Ltd. in an all-stock deal. This acquisition will allow the company to increase its ownership of the Tanbreez Project from 92.5% to 100%. Additionally, the company has purchased a cruise ship to house approximately 300 workers, which is expected to arrive at the site within two months to support ongoing operations.
