Critical One Energy discovers gold and extends antimony zone in Ontario

Critical One Energy has reported the discovery of gold mineralization alongside an extension of high-grade antimony zones at its Howells Lake Antimony-Gold Project in northwestern Ontario. Drilling from hole HWL-2026-016 expanded the known mineralized footprint approximately 70 meters northeast of previous drill sites.

Assay results confirmed significant antimony grades, including intervals of 4.09% Sb and 3.42% Sb. The same drill hole also identified gold mineralization, with results such as 3.3 meters at 1.02 grams per tonne gold. CEO Duane Parnham stated that the near-surface grades support the company’s potential direct-shipping scenario and that the gold discovery adds further potential financial value to the deposit.

The project is located in the Thunder Bay Mining Division, roughly 120 kilometers west of the Ring of Fire access corridor. Critical One Energy is currently conducting a CAD$9 million drilling campaign at the site and has completed 34 holes. The company intends to continue drilling northeast and down-dip along the interpreted structure, which remains open for follow-up drilling.
