Global mining firms report significant resource and production milestones

Several mining and energy companies have reported significant operational milestones across various global commodities.

In Canada, Flagship Minerals has expanded its Whipsaw copper project in British Columbia by 37.5 square kilometres, more than doubling its tenure. The project is located near Hudbay Minerals’ Copper Mountain mine.

In Colombia, Aguia Resources achieved record September production at its Santa Barbara gold project, with revenues covering local operating and overhead costs for the first time. The operation produced 36.75 ounces of gold.

In Australia, Barkly Rare Earths reported high-grade intercepts at its Northern Territory project, while Accelerate Resources identified a 72-metre manganese mineralisation zone at its Woodie Woodie North project in Western Australia.

TMK Energy reported record monthly gas production at its Gurvantes XXXV coal seam gas project in Mongolia, following a revised reservoir management plan. In Suriname, Critical Resources has engaged specialists to begin exploration for gold at its Gonini and Greenstars projects within the Guiana Shield.
