Croatia advances to Socca World Championship quarter-finals

The Croatian Socca national team has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Socca World Championship held in Essen, Germany. After securing a 3-1 victory over Italy in their final Group G match, Croatia topped the group standings.

Following the group stage, Croatia faced Spain in the round of 16. After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, Croatia secured a 3-2 victory in a penalty shootout. Duje Medak played a pivotal role throughout the tournament, scoring a crucial equalizer in the 41st minute against Spain and contributing significantly to the team's earlier 4-0 win against Turkey.

In the group stage, Croatia also recorded a 4-0 win against Turkey and a 3-1 win over Italy, despite an earlier loss to Peru.
