Croatia Airlines cheap Split‑Istanbul flights; HŽ restores night train to Split

Croatia Airlines announced round‑trip tickets from Split to Istanbul starting at €157, including taxes and hand luggage allowances. The airline listed multiple travel dates in September and October, emphasizing limited availability and optional extra fees for additional baggage.

Croatian Railways (HŽ) began operating a seasonal night train service between Osijek, Vukovar and Split from 27 June until the end of August. The train departs Vukovar at 18:44, passes through Vinkovci and Zagreb, and arrives in Split at 08:49. Return services run the same night, with seats and sleeper cabins available for reservation. Ticket prices are reduced by 40 % and certain groups travel free under public transport projects.
