Croatia announces Davis Cup lineup for Germany tie

The Croatian national tennis team has announced its lineup for the upcoming Davis Cup second-round qualifying match against Germany. Captain Ivan Dodig has selected Marin Čilić and Dino Prižmić for singles competition, while Mate Pavić and Nikola Mektić will lead the doubles entries. Borna Ćorić may also join the squad as support or a player as he recovers from injury.

The tie will take place on September 19 and 20 in Halle, Germany, on a hard court. The winner will secure a spot in the 2026 Davis Cup finals in Bologna, Italy. Germany's lineup features Alexander Zverev, alongside Yannick Hanfmann, Kevin Krawietz, and Tim Pütz.

In junior competition, twelve Croatian representatives advanced to the second round of the Junior Croatia Open ITF J100 tournament in Čakovec. Successful players moving forward include Ivan Maraković, Hrvoje Jutreša, Marko Čolak, and several others in both the boys' and girls' categories.
