Croatia celebrates 20th Lifelong Learning Week

The 20th Lifelong Learning Week is being held across Croatia from September 28 to October 4, 2026. This national campaign, inspired by a UNESCO initiative, aims to promote the importance of continuous education, skill acquisition, and personal development at all stages of life.

In Dubrovnik, the Career Center is organizing a Lifelong Learning Fair on October 1, 2026, at the Student Dormitory courtyard. The event will feature various providers, including the University of Dubrovnik, the Croatian Employment Service, and Europe Direct Dubrovnik, offering information on retraining and new educational programs. Additional activities in the region include lectures on artificial intelligence in teaching, internet fraud prevention, and vocational workshops.

In Poreč, the Public Open University is hosting free educational activities, such as creative workshops for children and experimental photography sessions for adults, to encourage community engagement and knowledge exchange.
