Croatia expands professional training in AI and business automation

Educational initiatives in Croatia are focusing on the practical application of artificial intelligence within the business sector.

StartupVG, an entrepreneurship incubator, is launching a “StartupVG Masterclass” series. The inaugural session, led by software engineer and entrepreneur Matija Stepanić, will focus on the real-world use of AI agents. The interactive lecture aims to demonstrate over 30 live projects, ranging from web applications to business automation, using tools like Claude Code to show how AI can solve specific professional problems.

Simultaneously, PAR University in Rijeka is conducting its ninth generation of the “Application of Artificial Intelligence in Business” micro-qualification program. Led by educator Anto Malbašić, the hybrid program teaches professionals and managers the principles of large language models and generative AI. The curriculum emphasizes practical demonstrations and the comparison of various tools to help participants maintain market competitiveness through responsible AI implementation.
