Croatia funds Slatina water system and Župa dubrovačka beach promenade upgrades
The city of Slatina approved an additional €55,000 grant for the "Turbinа 3" water supply and sewage project, bringing total state‑funded support for the scheme to €435,000. The contract was signed at the Regional Centre of Competence Panonika in Požega in the presence of EU regional development minister Nataša Mikuš Žigman and mayor Tomo Tomić, and aims to improve municipal infrastructure, attract investment and create jobs.
In the Dubrovnik‑area municipality of Župa dubrovačka, chief Marko Miloslavić signed a €170,000 contract with builder Platanus d.o.o. to renovate the Beterina promenade and beach access. The project, funded with €110,000 from the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, is slated to begin in July and finish by October, enhancing safety and accessibility for residents and visitors.
