Croatia hosts classic car rally and international motorsport events

Croatia is hosting two significant automotive events this weekend. In Zadar, the 25th anniversary of the ‘100 kilometara Zadra’ oldtimer rally will take place on Saturday, September 5. Organized by the Oldtimer klub Zadar, the procession of classic cars will depart from Kalelarga at noon, traveling through Arbanasi and concluding in Pakoštane. This year’s event follows an ‘Art&Classic’ concept, integrating technical heritage with local culture through visits to the Archaeological Museum of Zadar and the Church of St. Donatus.

Simultaneously, the 15th MOTUL Rally Kumrovec is scheduled for Friday and Saturday in the Hrvatsko zagorje region. The rally features 58 crews from eight European countries competing for points in the Central European Zone Championship, the Croatian Championship, and the Mitropa Rally Cup. The competition includes high-performance Rally2 vehicles and a showcase of historic icons, such as the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, Toyota Corolla AE86, and Ford Escort RS2000.
