Zadar hosts Latin Week and Stream Zadar dance workshops

Zadar is hosting a series of cultural events including the Latin Week and the Stream Zadar dance workshops. The Latin Week program at the Muraj site featured the Latin-jazz group Cubismo, known for blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with jazz and salsa. The event also included dance performances and workshops led by professional dancers from Havana and Split, covering styles such as salsa, mamba, cha-cha-cha, and merengue.

Additionally, the Stream Zadar platform is launching a seven-day series of intensive workshops starting August 16. These sessions serve as an introduction to the Monoplay festival, which focuses on solo dance forms. The workshops include diverse disciplines such as Kung Fu and Qi Gong to support the physical and technical development of dancers, choreographers, and educators.
