Croatia hosts science and literature events for Croatian Book Month

As part of the Croatian Book Month, several educational and scientific programs are scheduled in Croatia.

In Dubrovnik, author and educator Boris Šušnjar will host events at the Lapad branch of the Dubrovnik Library on October 21, 2026. The program includes a workshop for children aged 6 to 10 titled ‘Tesla’s Laboratory for Little Geniuses,’ featuring interactive experiments. Additionally, Šušnjar will present his book, ‘The Misunderstood Tesla – A Guide to Understanding a Genius,’ which aims to explore the human dimension and legacy of the inventor.

In Pula, the City Library and Reading Room will host the ‘NeuroSTEM EXPO’ on October 17, 2026. Organized by the Phronesis Center for Mental Strength of Children and Youth, this interactive exhibition focuses on neuroscience, mental health, and technology. The event will utilize biofeedback technology and neuro-photography to engage children and young people in STEM subjects. The project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus.
