Croatia initiates new school construction projects

Several significant educational infrastructure projects are commencing in Croatia. In Metković, construction is set to begin on a new music school building. The project involves the demolition of the former Kina Pobjeda building, which will be transformed into a modern educational and cultural facility to foster local musical talent.

In Nova Gradiška, within the Brod-Posavina County, preparations are underway for the construction of the new Jug Primary School. This project, valued at nearly 7.5 million euros excluding VAT, marks the first primary school to be built from the ground up in the region since the Homeland War. The new facility will include a single-use sports hall and has a capacity for 224 students. Coordination meetings have been established to monitor progress, with current works including the installation of reinforcement for the foundation slab and protection of electrical and water installations.
