Croatia invests in wellness tourism and historic coastal travel
Croatia is expanding its tourism appeal by investing heavily in wellness and thermal tourism. More than €121 million has been allocated to infrastructure to support the health and wellness sector, aiming to promote year-round travel and encourage visitors to explore inland destinations beyond the traditional Adriatic coast.
In addition to its growing wellness scene, the country remains a major destination for historical and coastal tourism. Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site, continues to attract international visitors with its medieval walls, historic Old Town, and status as a popular filming location for major cinematic productions.
