Croatia launches €15,000 vehicle subsidy for families with four or more children

The Croatian Ministry of Demography and Immigration, together with the Foundation "Croatia for Children", has opened a pilot programme to co‑fund the purchase of vehicles with seven or more seats for families with four or more children. The scheme will cover 50 % of the price of a new or used vehicle, including VAT, up to a maximum of €15,000 per family. Funding of up to €2.2 million has been allocated for the pilot.

Minister Ivan Šipić said the measure is an investment in families, easing daily logistics such as trips to kindergarten, school and medical appointments. A public call with detailed application criteria and required documentation is expected in September.
