Croatia launches mobile health units in Karlovac and Koprivnica

The Koprivnica‑Križevci County health centre will begin operating a mobile ambulance in the Đurđevac area in July. The specially equipped vehicle will serve settlements without a family‑medicine office, offering doctor consultations, basic diagnostics and other primary‑care services according to a published schedule.

In Karlovac County, four new vehicles were handed over to home‑care and physiotherapy institutions. The fleet supports a team of 49 nurses, technicians and physiotherapists that visit roughly 550 home‑care patients and 300 physiotherapy users each month, improving access to care across the county’s remote areas.
